I am fat. Therefore, I sew. I like to sew; at least it means I'm not restricted to buying 'what I can afford' (much less than I used to be able to afford when I had a vibrant career) or, even worse, 'what fits me' (always little enough, given my height of 152cm/5ft nothing, and even less now that I'm fat.)
Yes, you heard/read that correctly - I'm fat. Please don't use euphemistic epithets such as 'plus size', for what does that make people who are thin - minus size?
